Great to be back!


Happy New Year to all!

I just got back from the first two-week vacation I’ve taken in close to 30 years, and the first few days (as always) make me wonder if it was worth it!  The good news is that my business didn’t stop just because I was out of town.

Of course, the answer is “yes.”  Vacation time is important.  We all need time to refuel, and to think, without the all-day-every-day pace of this business.  It’s almost too easy now to do business from almost anywhere, and I was guilty of spending some time on my Blackberry and my laptop while I was gone.  Then it was back to family time and our beautiful NW Florida beachfront condo! 

Rested and recharged, I’m glad to be back in Austin, doing a job that I love for clients that are worth every minute!  It’s gonna be a great New Year!
