Unfortunately, this year we’re also among the “hottest.”  I think we’re at 65 days at 100 degrees or higher this year.  That’s already several times the average number of triple-digit days here.  The record is 69 days, and it seems clear that we’ll break that.  Personally, I like summer, even this one, but a lot of folks here have just about had it.

Anyway, this post includes at least four reasons to love Austin.  If you’re like me in your climate preference, make that five.
